Eugene Lumbers (1916-1990)

Australian author. Born in Adelaide in 1916. Eugene Lumbers was a freelance writer who adapted a number of works for TV and radio series, as well as writing novels based on existing shows. One of his adaptations was a book based on a popular ABC radio series about Blue Ribbons Riding School and the Byrne family. As far as I know this was his only foray into horsy territory.
